Our Colombian came to us in a time of crisis. Our Sumatran bean had been wiped out by a landslide and we need a bean to blend with our Reds for our Espresso. It need to go dark but complement our fruity chocolate vibe. In stepped this little gem. Produced among smallholders in the Pitalito region this coffee this coffee brings together different farmers and different varietals to yield a blend that loves to go dark but isn't over powering. It has traditional South American notes of chocolate and a nutty caramel note with the sweet ripe notes of plum. It feels like the perfect cup to welcome some much needed cooler weather here and we're so happy we found this coffee. If you like a classic drip or French Press, this is your bean. If you are looking for espresso try our blend where we liven this up with our Reds, or try it straight for that richer darker shot.
