Shipping Policy

Fruits & Roots Coffee Roasters ships coffee, tea, and other available products throughout the United States.

Order Processing

Most orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

Because coffee is roasted in small batches, some orders may be scheduled around our roasting rhythm to help ensure freshness. During busy seasons, product launches, holidays, or limited drops, processing times may be slightly longer.

You will receive an email confirmation after placing your order. Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information when available.

Shipping Rates

We offer flat rate shipping within the United States:

  • Ohio orders: $6.95 flat rate shipping
  • Orders outside of Ohio: $8.95 flat rate shipping
  • Free shipping: Available on orders over $35

Free shipping applies to eligible orders before any applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated at checkout. Free shipping offers may be subject to product exclusions or shipping location limits.

Delivery Times

Delivery times vary based on the shipping carrier, destination, weather, holidays, and other factors outside of our control.

Estimated delivery times are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed by Fruits & Roots Coffee Roasters.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Please make sure your shipping address is complete and accurate before placing your order.

Fruits & Roots Coffee Roasters is not responsible for orders delayed, returned, lost, or delivered incorrectly due to an inaccurate or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer.

If an order is returned to us because of an incorrect address, failed delivery, or refusal of delivery, additional shipping charges may apply to resend the order.

Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

Once an order is handed to the shipping carrier, the carrier is responsible for delivery.

Fruits & Roots Coffee Roasters is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, stolen packages, weather delays, or delivery issues outside of our control.

If your package appears lost or delayed, please contact the shipping carrier first using your tracking number. You may also contact us at hello@fruitsandroots.com and we will do our best to help.

Damaged Orders

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

If your order arrives damaged, contact us at hello@fruitsandroots.com within 7 days of delivery. Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the damaged product and packaging.

We will review the issue and determine the best next step, which may include a replacement, store credit, or refund depending on the situation.

Missing or Incorrect Items

If you receive the wrong item or something is missing from your order, contact us at hello@fruitsandroots.com within 7 days of delivery.

Please include your order number and a description of the issue so we can review and make it right.

Perishable and Food Items

Coffee, tea, and other food or beverage products are not eligible for return once opened.

For safety and quality reasons, we generally cannot accept returns on food or beverage products unless there is an issue with damage, incorrect items, or a mistake with your order.

Local Delivery and Pickup

Local delivery or pickup may be available for certain orders, locations, or products.

Local delivery is typically completed within 1 to 3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Delivery timing may vary based on order volume, product availability, roasting schedule, weather, or other circumstances outside of our control.

Availability, timing, order minimums, and service areas may vary. Any local delivery or pickup options will be shown at checkout when available.
